Also called hydrophytic plants or hydrophytes — are plants that have adapted to living in or on aquatic environments. Aquatic plants grow in the pond, but also in ponds and small containers. Whether in large and colorful flowers bloom (like water lilies and water hyacinth), whether they simply produce stems and leaves of various shades of green, are the ideal completion of each pond, large or small, in addition to the surface of the pool.

Acquatic Plants
The choice of plants depends on its depth: the water hyacinth “Eichorn crassipes” floating, the “Thalia dealbata” and “Acorus calamus” just a few inches of water. A water lily itself must be more depth. Important are the climatic conditions: very few aquatic plants live only water. Most of them need a plot to sink the roots.
The stores of aquatic plants have available a suitable soil for healthy development and vigorous.
Aquatic plants are of various types: those that live submerged, others are simply floating. Water lilies survive our temperatures: water lily fireball, latomomo Boton minum (floating plants), Trapa natans (marsh plant), Calla palustris. These plants do not need special care and should be immersed in pools with water depth ranging from 40cm to over 1 meter. Tropical water lilies require shallower depths, where normally the water is warmer.
The land used is from the normal garden, preferably clay. It is not recommended as peat or compost ready, do not allow the proper growth of plants. Just provided a plant will bloom soon. After one or two years will be even more buds. Are slow release granular fertilizer recommended for inclusion in the ground or mature compost. The fertilizer increases flowering and plant growth.
