The eranthis is composed about by 7 kinds of perennial herbaceous plants, resistants, strong e very interesting for their flowering (full blossom at the end of the winter and at the beginning of the spring). It is a genus of eight species of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae, classified as herbaceous perennial plant.

The growing is easy: theese variety have tuberose rhizomes, with palmate leaves and yellow flowers. Plants of eranthis are cultivated in groups in the garden, under trees with falling leaves.

The fertilization of the ground is required only at the time of planting out with manure or granular products. They could be planted both in full sunshine or in partial sun. Erenthis is resistant both to high and low temperatures, and not requires water if the ground selected it’s enough fresh (except when it’s young and requires regular water). In august split the tuberose rhizomes and plant them at 2/3 cm under the ground, at the distance of 8-10cm between them.
They prefers drained soils, but fresh.
The sowing should be made under glass or in open spaces. When little plants should be handled, plant them out, and wait 1 or 2 years for the blooming.
